We at MarketVolt want to recognize our partners at McCluer South – Berkeley High School in the Ferguson-Florissant School District in St. Louis County, MO.

Head football coach Howard Brown was honored by the Ellen DeGeneres Show for his 15 years of dedication to his team. Coach Brown has been using his own money making sure that his players have the equipment they need and used his own time to hand scrub dirty uniforms so that the team would look their best at every game.

But, Coach Brown is more than just a coach. He’s a father figure to many of the young men on his team. He doesn’t stop caring about them when they’re off the field. He ensures that they are good citizens and good students away from football.

During a recent episode, Coach Brown and his team were surprised by a live video conference with Ellen. The team was awarded a donation of $25,000 so that Coach Brown could continue to provide needed uniforms and equipment to his players who might not otherwise have been able to afford them.

MarketVolt is a St. Louis based company. Most of us live and work within a few minutes of Ferguson. For several years, the name Ferguson has symbolized unwarranted negative connotations about our beautiful city and region. Locally, we’ve always known better. But, it’s great to see such a positive story shown nationally about such an inspiring coach and his team working so hard to make our little corner of the world a better place.

We’re proud of you, Coach Brown! And, we’re proud to be the email provider for the entire Ferguson-Florissant School District. Keep up the good work!
